Homemade pizza

Hello! A few days ago I made pizza with dad and my brothers. We made it by buying the pizza dough which was already made and put some topping on it. The pizza was so delicious! Although when the pizza came out of the oven some parts were still a bit doughy and some parts were burned, still tasted amazing though!

  1. Hi Laura, what a fun thing to do with your little brothers and your dad. I'm glad it still tasted amazing even if a bit unevenly cooked. What toppings do you like on pizza?

  2. Kia ora Laura,

Great work adding pictures! I love how you did this with your whanau. Why do you think some parts were a bit doughty whilst other parts burnt?
Perhaps we could make these once we are back at school! How much of each ingredient do you think we would need?
Have you ever made pizza dough yourself?

Keep up the great work, Laura!

  3. Kia ora Laura - what a lovely activity to do at home with your family. Your pizza's looked incredibly delicious! I liked the way you added pictures to your post so we could see your wonderful creations. Were you able to cook them in the oven all at once or did you need to cook them one by one? You learn so much from cooking. Well done. Take care. Jen TA (Awhi below)

  4. Hi Laura,

It's lovely to see how you have been so proactive at home with your family. Those pizzas look absolutely amazing! What toppings did you put on your pizza?
Next time, what changes would you make if you could do this again?

    Take care,
    Miss Helen

  5. Hi Laura
Great photos. How much fun was that having your little brothers helping to make pizza? Were they tasting as they were making? I have had pizzas burn when toppings are spread out, unevenly, and the tray is placed too high up in the oven close to the cooking element. Do you think that is what happened to your pizzas?
I'm delighted you are using this time at home to create great family memories.
    Enjoy and Keep safe
